What is a response rate?

Response rate is an indicator of how often a member has been responding to direct repost requests recently. It is shown alongside each member in the browse reposters list:

You can see your own response rate on your incoming requests page and at the top of your homepage:

Your response rate will decrease if you leave incoming requests to expire (a response is either a repost or a decline). If your response rate is low, it can be reset back to 100% by clicking the orange 'Reset' text as shown above - this can be done once a month.

If you know you will be unable to respond to requests for some reason, and you wish to protect your response rate, you can do so in one of the following ways:

  • clicking 'Snooze now' in the "You have new repost requests" email:

This lasts for 48 hours, your response rate will be 'frozen' during that time

  • disabling "Accepting direct repost requests" in your account settings or from the dropdown menu underneath your profile name:

You can toggle this on/off whenever you like. Note that when this is disabled, you will not receive any requests, but your response rate will remain unaffected.
