By default your account will be open to receive direct requests automatically. When you receive a direct request from another member, it will appear on your Dashboard and on your Requests page.
From receiving the direct request, you have 24 hours to accept it or decline it. You must play the track before you are able to repost it.
Accept / Repost - The track will be reposted on your SoundCloud profile and you will earn the number of credits displayed on the Repost button.
Decline - If you would prefer not to repost the track, that's OK! The member will get their credits back. You may include a message or feedback when you decline a direct request (this is optional but encouraged).
Time Out - If you take no action within 24 hours, the request will expire and the member will get their credits back. Please note your Response Rate will decrease each time a request times out.
If you would prefer not to get direct requests, you can turn off 'Accepting direct repost requests' in your settings. Here you can also block requests for tracks which do not match any of your preferred genres.
You can also choose which notifications you would like to get when you receive a direct request.
